Visita Iglesia.. The modern way

Yesterday, my mom woke us up at around 5:00am because we have to be in San Pablo Cathedral by 6am to attend the annual blessing of the holy oils. We used to attend this mass when we were kids, but since most of us are busy with work, especially my dad, we weren't able to attend the blessing of the oils mass. Anyway, the bishop was already giving his homily when we arrived at the Cathedral around 7am. My siblings and I are in our usual selves poking at each other like kids and my parents would always call our attention and tell us to stop. Hehehe.. The mass ended at around 8:30am and after that we had breakfast then went on with our visita iglesia. We visited around 7 beautiful old churches in the nearby towns and Im so amazed to see that the parishoners there really give money to the church. anyway, you can check out my photoblog entry for the pictures of the churches that we visited: http://joyruth.photoblog.com/user/joyruth/2007/04/05/ .

Random Blabbers, part III

Some thoughts nung graduation ni JP last sunday ..
  • I still can't believe na 10 years na akong graduate ng highschool! And at that time, senior kinder pa lang siya. Now, he's an alumnus of that school. How time really flies..
  • I remember when we're still kids and si kuya pa lang yung graduating from school, we always ask our mom or dad for money just to buy some food. I remember pinagagalitan kami ni daddy kasi ang kulit kulit namin. Ngayon, sina mommy na ang nagrerequest na ibili namin sila ng food kasi nagugutom na sila! hehehhe..
  • I had a blast taking pics of JP while he's on stage accepting his numerous awards and while he's seated next to the other awardees. He is awarded 3rd Honorable Mention and infairness, siya lang yung guy sa mga honor students! Congrats, bunso! heheheh..
  • I met few of my classmates way back in highschool sa graduation ni JP. 3 of them were his teacher and the other one was a sister of JP's classmate. Medyo nde kami nakapagchikahan because they were super busy preparing for the graduation. I also had a chance to talk to my senior year classroom adviser. Infairness, she gained weight and still wears the same haircut. heheheh..
  • I can't help but reminisce while I was walking along the corridors of my old high school. I remember the days while we were still students in that school. Ang dami namin kalokohan nun! hehehhe.. Medyo madami na din changes sa school. Wala na yung dating CAT HQ at yung dating stage where we held our graduation. Meron na kasi silang gym ngayon. Nakakainis nga lang kasi nde namin napakinabangan. Atleast nakita ko na yung development fee namin! hehehehe.. 4 years din kami sinisingil nun!

Hey, boyfriend! It's your birthday!

Today is Randall's birthday!

(very hyper mode version)
Happy Birthday to you!
Happy birthday to you!
Happy birthday, happy birthday!
Happy birthday to you! Yey!
(Dude, you know me! hyper talaga ako! hehehhe..)

Since wala akong birthday gift sa yo, I'm alloting this space in my blog to honor you as my birthday gift (takot ka ba? heheheh). In case you're not aware, it's a tradition in the CFC community that everytime a person celebrates his/her birthday, we honor and horror them. It's like giving a friendster testimonial in person. hehehhe.. Anyway, here it is..

.. acknowledges and learns from his mistakes.. everytime he does something wrong, he takes note of it so that next time he won't commit the same mistake again (hopefully).
.. strives to be the best person he could possibly be.. he really invests sa mga books. He even encourage me to read some of the books na meron siya ( na hanggang ngayon, ni isa, wala pa akong natatapos!).
.. values the people around him.. he maintains good relationships with the people around him.
.. values his faith and principles.. he knows what values to prioritize. He knows how important God is in his life.

madami pang good traits itong taong ito.. pero I know a lot of people already knew about that.. (or wala na kasi ako maisip na good traits niya kasi puro panira yung mga naiisip ko! hehehehe... ).

(DISCLAIMER: skip this paragraph, if you don't want to throw up.. mushy content)
My message for you.. (seryoso ito!)
I'm always thankful to God that I've met someone like you. Although you have flaws, you still continue to shine in everything that you do. These imperfections allow you to grow and learn more about yourself. I'm also thankful that you were always there for me in my ups and downs. You willingly accepted me even if I'm weird. You continue to love me even if you learn more weird things about me. You are such a blessing to me that I always thank God for having you as His special gift to me. I love you! (aww... nasusuka na ako sa mga pinagsusulat ko! hehhehe.. )

My wish for you.. ( aside from sana mailibre mo ako!)
May God continue to bless you and your family with everything your heart desires.
May God bless you with the gift of wisdom and discernment to help you give a decision that is righteous and just.
May God grant you patience in everything that you do.
May God guide you to be a blessing for others.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BOYFRIEND! (Ang tanda mo na! hehehe....)

Quarter Life Crisis daw o!?

A week ago, I told Randall that I think I'm having some sort of a "midlife crisis". I told him that I feel old already. And the fact that my youngest brother is graduating from high school, I really feel old. I don't want to reminisce about the things I did for this kid ( he's still a baby for me!) because I might get depressed again. hehehe.... Aside from that, I'm a little bit frustrated because I have a lot of plans lined up that I haven't accomplished yet. I'm a little worried that I might not even accomplish those plans. Ok, now i'm really depressed! sigh...

Anyway, I did a little research on the web about midlife crisis and I found this definition of mid life crisis in wikipedia as "an emotional state of doubt and anxiety in which a person becomes uncomfortable with the realization that life is halfway over." Then the other day, Vienna mentioned that I might be experiencing what therapists or psychologists call a "quarterlife crisis". Again, I checked google and this came out in wikipedia

"The 'quarterlife crisis' (QLC) is a term applied to the period of life immediately following the major changes of adolescence, usually ranging from the ages of 21 - 29. The term is named by analogy with mid-life crisis."

Also mentioned are the emotional chracteristics of this so called quarterlife crisis:
  • feeling "not good enough" because one can't find a job that is at his/her academic/intellectual level
  • frustration with relationships, the working world, and finding a suitable job or career
  • confusion of identity
  • insecurity regarding the near future
  • insecurity regarding present accomplishments
  • re-evaluation of close interpersonal relationships
  • disappointment with one's job
  • nostalgia for university or college life
  • tendency to hold stronger opinions
  • boredom with social interactions
  • financially-rooted stress
  • loneliness
  • desire to have children
  • a sense that everyone is, somehow, doing better than you

Well, I do feel some of this emotional characterisitcs, so definitely I'm currently experiencing this QLC. Did further searching on the web and I found out that there's a website that focuses on this crisis! I checked the website and there's so many articles discussing how to cope up with quarterlife crisis and stuff. I can't even believe that there's a website and a couple of books dedicated for this! In fairness, the site is informative in the sense that there are articles that will help you cope up with QLC and it also has a forum. heheheh... Anyway, you may check out the site at www.quarterlifecrisis.com. Let me know what you think.

One Hope

Last weekend, I went to Tubod, Lanao Del Norte to attend the annual SFC International Leader's Conference. The conference is 3 days, 2 nights affair where all members of the SFC community are encoureaged to attend. It is considered "THE EVENT" in the SFC community. hehehhe.. The theme for the year was taken from the book of Lamentations.

Anyway, this year's ILC is much different from last year's because they brought back the praise parade and the mixers and there's a separate session for the brothers and sisters. The workshops are also organized and focuses on the interests of its members. The talks were all inspiring and very relevant to what everyone is experiencing. I really enjoyed the 2nd talk, entitled "Lamentations" because it focused on what we usually lament. This is also the session were the sisters are separated from the brothers. I also enjoyed the 3rd talk, entitled "One Hope". It focuses on having hope in God. There are also a series of praisefests were everybody felt God's loving presence. I can't really find the words how to describe this experience, but one thing is for sure, I know having hope in God will do wonders in your one's life.

By the way, you can view the pics from the conference from this link http://new.photos.yahoo.com/ligaya4/album/576460762390862615

Enjoy!

Random Blabbers

Some very random thoughts

  • I'm currently loving Justin Timberlake's songs, especially his 2nd single entitled "My Love". I also like his other songs, "Sexy back" and his current single "What goes around". I'm now contemplating on buying his cd. hehhehe..

  • I can't wait to download the latest episode of Grey's Anatomy and Smallville, but I think this might take a while. I haven't finished downloading the previous episodes because my connection at home sucks! I hope the connection later doesn't suck.

  • I'm 10 lbs heavier after 1 year. I think I also need to change my diet. They say brown rice is good for losing weight. I tried the other variety, Red rice, and it tastes and smells good. Hmm.. Must buy later.

  • I'm so looking forward to SFC International Leader's Conference. The venue is in Iligan City, Lanao del Sur (I hope I'm correct). I'm also looking forward to try out the water rafting in Cagayan de Oro. So excited!

  • I want to buy a Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 APO DG MACRO or Sigma 55-200mm F4-5.6 DC. I need to check the reviews first before buying these lenses. They say the 55-200mm is very good complement for the 18-55mm. I need to save up really fast. heheheh..

  • Currently craving for the oatmeal cookie sold at Fruit Magic in Fitness First. Really yummy. I'm now hungry..

Boracay.. at last!

Last weekend, I went to Boracay with some friends from my previous company for our very loooooong overdue vacation. Actually, me, Marien and Agdie were planning this trip since march. Since Marien left the company and Agdie is out of the country most of the time, our bora trip was delayed. We only started planning the bora trip last October when Marien found a cheap round trip plane fare from Manila to Kalibo via Cebu Pacific. Finding accomodations is a breeze because I knew someone who has a room for rent in the island. The exciting part is that the accomodation is near the beach! Because of that, we're all eager to go to Boracay immediately! heheheh.. We also encountered some problems a few days before our trip, but that didn't stop us from going to our destination.

After 4 hours of travel, we arrived at our destination- Boracay. Yey! We checked in first in our room then ate dinner at a nearby restaurant. We took pictures using my camera while waiting for food. After dinner we checked out the area and (as usual!) took some pictures. Then after buying some stuff at a nearby grocery, we decided to go home, drink beer and rest. heheheh

The next day, we decided to go island hopping. We visited 3 places around the island. Unfortunately, I forgot the names of the places that we visited. On our first stop, we visited an island that is known for its beautiful island scenery and caves On our next stop, we went snorkling. We saw a lot of beautiful school of fish and few corals as well. The current was really strong at that time so we're having a hard time hanging on the rope. After an hour we went to our last destination were we ate a very delicious lunch. We also bought some paslubong from the local vendors before we head back to the resort. We hang out at the room for a while then we decided to buy some pasalubong. I also took some pictures of the pasalubong, mostly keychains, in the market. After hours of shopping, we then decided to swim for while, took some pictures playing around with the sun and build castles at the beach. We hit the showers after a few hours then we went to the grocery to buy dinner. We tried to have a nightlife in boracay but it rained, so we called it a day.

On our third day, we ate breakfast at a nearby coffeeshop because Adgie and Marien wanted to drink coffee. After breakfast, we decided to go on a land tour. We visited mt Luho, where you can see the whole island, the butterfly garden, bat caves and a certain part of the island where you usually see in the postcards ( again, I forgot the name of the place!). After the land tour, we tried the parasailing. I must say, It's really cool and fun experience! Then after the parasailing, we tried kayaking for an hour then we swim for a while then hit the showers. We ate dinner afterwards then we again went to the grocery to buy some booze. We drank at the beach and have a little chitchat. We decided to sleep at around 12 midnight since we're leaving early the next day. I wish we could stay longer but we can't since we have to work. We woke up 4 hours later to prepare for our trip back home.We left boracay at around 6am. We arrived at the airport a few minutes after 8am, then at 9am, we're waiting for our call to board our flight. We left Kalibo at around 10 am and arrived at the domestic airport a few minutes passed 11am. And that concludes my trip to Boracay.

New Gadget.. A second hand Canon 350D

After months of saving (well, trying to save.. ), I was able to buy my first DSLR, a second hand Canon 350D with two months warranty remaining. I found this in pinoyphotography.org forums. I was hesitant at first to buy the camera since its already used and my dad's going to kill when he finds out. My dad is really a control freak when it comes to spending money. He always scolds me whenever I buy stuff like rubber shoes, clothes, gadgets and other expensive stuff. But since it's really hard to find a good deal camera now, I decided to buy it. hehehe.. I'm now very and excited and looking forward to go to Boracay next week and take some pics of the island.

May broadband na kami! hehehe...

Yeah! You heard me right! My dad just got us a broadband connection yesterday. Maybe he's so tired of waiting for my youngest brother to get home because he always go to the internet just outside the village. Good thing for me, my brothers are on night shift, so I get to use the pc. Unfortunately, I'll be "moving out" of the house and moving in to the team's condo in Eastwood. I'm having mixed emotions in moving out of the house because this is the first time that I'm really living outside of my comfort zone. Even in college, I never left home.. Well my dad never allowed me to stay in a dorm, so I don't have any choice. hehhehe.. Anyway, I'm still going home every thursday and saturdays because of SFC activities and clothes... hehehhe..

..turning a year old

I just turned 26 yesterday. I don't feel anything special about my bitrthday except that it rained the whole day! hehehe.. Some people say that when it rains on your birthday, it's a sign that God is blessing your birthday. Well if that's the case, then God must be really generous in blessing me. From what I've heard, there was a low pressure passing by the country. hehehehe..

Anyway, a few days ago, me, Jovy and Agdie were eating dinner at Jack's Loft while catching up with our lives. It's been 8 months since we last hang out together. We're all busy with work and other stuff. Agdie was always traveling. Jovy and Allan were busy with their stuff. Marien resigned and transferred to another company. Macols, Allen and Guchie are busy with their own lives also. And as for me, SFC stuff and gym are the things that keeps me busy. Ofcourse, I also spend time with Randall and SC2K peeps. Anyway, we were talking about the stuff that we did last year and places that we've been to.Those were really happy and memorable moments for us. We really bonded as a group. We left eastwood at around 11pm. On my way home, I became so sentimental that I'm still thinking and reminiscing about the things that happened the past year. I really missed those times that we just go out and enjoy each other's company. Anyway, I posted some pictures here and as you can see, I've been to places with these guys. hehehehe..

Picture taken at Puerto Galera Ma. Elson, me, Jovy, Macols, Marien and Agdie. This was my second trip to puerto galera and first time to ride the banana boat. I was really tired after this ride because I was having a hard time pulling myself out of the water everytime the boat trips. But I really had fun with this trip because this was our first real out of town trip. hehehehe

Guchie's despedida at Metrowalk. In the picture (L-R) Mark, Mario, Marien, Julie, Guchie, Agdie, Jovy, Allan, Macols, me and Allen. I can't forget this event because there was some rally in Makati when this happened and the people in the office were already thinking a contigency plan if ever there's some changes in the government. Aside from that, this is the earliest time our gimik ended. We went home at around 1 am. hehehhehe

Picture taken at Splash Mountain in Los Banos. (L-R) Me, Marien, Allen, Macols, Jovy and Allan. After a month of stay in the new office, we went to Los Banos for our first swimming trip.

Taken at Baywalk. Standing (L-R) Allen, Jovy, Me, Cathy. Seated(L-R) Arun, Jack, Allan, Macols. This was taken five days after I just started with my new office.

Macols' Despedida at IOKTV. (L-R) Allen, Allan, Macols, Jovy, Me, Agdie, and Marien. We tried KTV for a change. We sang our hearts out in here! hehehehhe.....

Trenders at subic. Jovy, Allan, Agdie, Me, Randall, Marien, and Macols. This is our second real out of town trip and Randall's first out town trip with the group. This is also his first long drive with his car. hehehhe...

Leslie's Tagaytay. Randall, Me, Macols, Jovy, Marien, Agdie and Allan. We went to tagaytay a week after my birthday. I was really groggy at that time since I just came out of my shift.. I'm on a night shift the whole month! ehehhehe... Those where the "shifting" days...

SC2K goes to Singapore (part 3)

Third day in our singapore trip and i'm already feeling tired. why? I haven't fully recovered from all the traveling, touring and sleepless nights(I have a really hard time sleeping on other person's bed). Anyway, the agenda for that day was to hear mass in the morning then go to the Science Center after lunch. But, since we got up late, our plans were changed. We still attend the mass then went to Novena to eat lunch but instead going to the science center, we went to chinatown and suntec city. Anyway, here are some pics from Marvin's camera from our trip(I wasn't able to charge the battery of my camera.)

Taken by Ted using Marvin's Camera. Me, Randall, Resie, Marvin and Shella at a restaurant in Novena. The food there was great. I love to eat there again.

Taken by Marvin. Norleen, Ted, Me and Randall. Still at the same restaurant.

Taken by Marvin. Shella and me imitating the images at the door of a Hindu Temple in Chinatown.

Taken by Resie. Marvin, me, Randall and Shella touching the famous fountain of wealth at Suntec Mall.

SC2K goes to Singapore, part 2 (Sentosa)

On our second day in Singapore, the group head off to Sentosa. We're supposed to leave Pau's house at around 7:30 am, but since we slept late we woke up at 7:30 and left the house at around 10:30. hehehe... Sentosa is an island that was developed as a theme park. You can ride a bus or cable car to get there, but I would suggest you ride the cable car because of the view. A lot of people I know who visited the country said that this island is really a must- see. And I can now attest to that! The kid in me really had fun touring around the island (except for standing in a long queue waiting for the bus to arrive.). Anyway, here are some more pics from our trip to Sentosa.

Trying to find my artistic side.. still can't find it. heheheh...We were waiting at the train station (i forgot the name of the station) and I remember the season 3 racers of Amazing Race (one of my favorite reality shows.) went to Boon Lay to do a detour. heheheh.. just a trivia.

Taken by Serg's bro ( I think). SC2K peeps - Shella, Serge, Resie, Marvin, me and Randall- while waiting for the train to arrive. I think we waited for about 7 minutes for the train to arrive so little photo session just to kill some time. heheheh...

Picture taken by Serg. Marvin, me, Randall, Resie and Shella. Photo ops at Harbourfront while waiting for the Divino family finish their to do stuff.

Taken by Marvin. Me and Randall at the cable car with Shella, Resie and Marvin. The view of Singapore from up there was really beautiful.

First stop for the day. Sentosa Luge and Skyride. This is one of my favorite attractions in sentosa. Its like a go cart but without engine. I really love this ride because I was able to apply my NFS (need for Spee) skills! ehehehhe..

Taken by Serg while we're riding the skyride.

Taken at the Underwater World. Im happy with this pic because it came out really great. I also enjoyed this attraction because I get to see a lot fishes. There's this one area there where the fossil fishes are being displayed. It was really scary because the fishes there are really big and looked really old! hehehhe..

From Serg's camera taken by kuya Mike. Me, Randall, Shella and Serg at the Dolphin Lagoon while waiting for the dolphin show.

One of my many attempts to be artistic.. hehehe..

Taken by Serg's Bro. SC2K peeps and the Merlion in Sentosa. We never get the chance to go near the statue because we're in a hurry to watch the Musical Fountain, which is one of the most popular attractions in sentosa.

Some miscellaneous pics from the trip. I already modified the pics just to give it a more lively appeal.

One of my many shots in the musical fountain show.

SC2K goes to Singapore....

Atlast, I was able to squeeze some (little) time to update my blog. I have so many trips last summer that I was not able to put in this blog. Anyway, I'll just post here my most recent trip.. Singapore (yes! you read that one right!). I went there with Randall's college friends last June 16. We stayed there for 6 days. It was a very exhausting (I got sick, by the way..) but fun experience. I borrowed my dad's camera for this trip but I'm really not satisfied with the pics. I'm contemplating of buying a second hand Canon 300D SLR from a forum, but since the prices for a 350D is going down, I'm thinking of buying a brand new 350D instead (yeah!). I hope I could buy that before the year ends. Anyway, here are some pics.. Enjoy! By the way, ( ang dami kong pahabol! hehehehe..) I only have pics from the time we arrive in singapore to our trip to sentosa. I don't have yet a copy of our pics in singapore zoo and other places. I forgot to get them from Randall.. Maybe next time.. hehehe.. Some pics are from Marvin's camera.

Taken by Marvin. The guys that i'm with are making fun of me because they learned that it's my first time to ride a plane and first time to go on a trip ouside the country. (Kodak moment daw!)

Taken during our flight to Singapore. I think this was around 7pm.

Taken by Paulo. Me, Randall and Marvin at the pic. We just arrived at the Budget Terminal at Singapore. Pau and Ted fetched us in the airport. I think Pau was so overwhelmed that he took pictures of us while we're exchanging our money, on the bus going to terminal 2, and at the MRT. hehehehe..

Taken by Pau. We saw this in the MRT station in Changi Airport. We're supposed to be pointing at the flight details in the Budget Terminal, but we didn't notice that we're pointing Terminal 2 Flight Information. I think we're just tired and hungry. hehheeh.. excuses!

Taken by Marvin while we're waiting for the bus en route to Paulo's place. I forgot the area where this bus station was located.

3D Pavement Art in Esplanade Mall. Really cool!

Esplanade Site Map.

The Esaplanade. We hang around here for a while after we ate dinner together with the other SC2K peeps who arrived singapore 2 days ahead of us and those who were already living there. We also took some group pictures here but we used Serge's camera. After we took some pictures, we went home to Pau's home and call it a day.

I'll post more pics next time.. i have to work first. hehehehe...

Panata, bus ticket at iba pa..

Last night, me, Vienna and Kim decided to do our "panata" at Temptasian in Megastrip B. FYI, our panata is to pig out at any new restaurant. Our officemate coined the term "panata" to it because we usually do it every payday. It's been a while since the last time we dine out. I don't even remember the last time we did this! hehehe.. Anyway, the food there was really good. We ordered chicken with sesame seeds, sisig, mixed veggies with tofu and yang chow rice. I like the chicken. It was recommended by Lemon (that's the waiter's name!). I like him, by the way, because he was so enthusiastic and hyperactive while getting our orders. hehehe.. We stayed there for a while to catch up on the usual stuff then I went home and vienna and kim watched a movie. Since it's already past 9pm, I head straight to star mall only to find a very long queue of people waiting for a van bound to Balibago. I was thinking of taking the MRT when I saw a bus headed towards to Binan. I took that because i'm really in a hurry to get home. Unfortunately, I arrived home at around 12 pm because there's this bus driver that literally parked the bus in the loading and unloading lane of EDSA- Ayala. Anyway, while I was on the bus, I saw the bus conductor holding a handheld device similar to a PDA. And so I thought, " ang sosyal naman ng kunduktor na ito, naka-PDA pa! Dinaig pa ako!" heheheh.. And then he asked the girl beside me if she's a student and where is her destination and to my surprise, after a few clicks by the bus conductor, the handheld device dispensed a bus ticket! I can't believe what I saw that I kept the ticket. eheheh.. by the way, below is the ticket from the bus station.

Haay.. memories!

Yesterday, I received an email from one of my yahoogroups that a new poll was created. I logged in the group and voted. Then I saw the list of the polls that we created before and I saw two polls about me. One poll is asking if they want me to be their group mascot and the other one is asking the people if they love me. I know they're really weird people! hehehe.. I also checked the threads that emerged from that polls and it really made me think about the days that we spent so much time answering the email sent by one of the members. Those were the days. I still remember the times that they make fun of me in the email, tease me and my ex, tease me about how I react and stuff. Times that we discuss stuff like relationships, love, sex, computer stuff, etc. Yeah.. those were the days. I remember last year, i read the posts in ppgals yahoogroups, and I can't believe how lame we were! hehehehe.. most of our posts discuss stuff about our crushes, boyfriends and other male encounters! Blackmail material in short!! hehehe.. I can't stop laughing while reading the threads. We promised that we will not delete the messages so that we could really laugh about it after 10 to 15 years.. hehehehe.. Haay.. memories!

Just this morning, I was listening to the morning rush at RX 93.1 and their top 10 survey question was what will you say when your ex is crawling back to your arms. I was really tempted to send an entry, but I opt not to do it. Anyway, that question made me reminisce the times ( yeah! with an s!) when my recent ex boyfriend asked me to take him back. The first time he did it was around 3 years ago. I have given up talking to him because he really made it clear that he doesn't want me to be his friend. He sent a text message basically asking me how I was. I didn't reply due to 2 reasons. First, he texted me at around 9:30 pm and I was already sleeping!, Second, I don't know what to do and what to say. In short, he freaked me out! heheheh.. Anyway, he called me up the next day and we talked about that stuff and we became friends and after some months , we got back together. (stupid me!) heheheh... The second time he did that to me was last year. After 17 months, I broke up with him and a month after that, i have a new boyfriend. 3 weeks after that, he saw a picture of me and my current boyfriend at my friendster account. Then one sunday evening, after I got home from work, he sent a text message asking me if the guy in my friendster account is my boyfriend. I said yes, then we again talk and talk and talk.. hehehe.. then he asked me if I would take him back and I just asked him why. And he just said sorry for asking those questions. After that, he didn't made any attempt to get back with me again. Anyway, he's now happy with his current girlfriend and I'm happy with my current boyfriend.

Last na ito.. hehehe..
This morning also, I received an email from Thyra and she's asking if we have pictures from our college days. Definitely, I don't have any picture. Vienna has pics so she emailed a few pics to us. We are now making fun of those pics because of our looks. hhehehhe... I was really skinny during college and the pictures prove it! hehehehe.. Unfortunately, the site has having difficulties uploading the pics. hehehehe.. maybe next time..

Boring na nga.. Magastos pa!

It's really a very boring day today. No work.. since we don't have projects yet. Maybe next week, our new manager will assign us new tasks to work on. I'm trying to learn C# again because after 1 year of supporting applications, i forgot what i've learned! hehehehe.. Aside from having a very boring week (i don't have anything to work on since monday!), it's also a very expensive week for me. One of my thesismates posted a promo from Cebu Pacific Airlines. The promo says if you buy tickets from March 6-8, the fare only costs around 10 pesos. But the trip to your chosen destination is from June 20 to October 30(?) 2006. It is so ideal for us because our classmate who is working in japan will come home at that time! (yey!) Since the booking is done online, I did the booking and buying of the tickets, since I'm the only person in the group who has a credit card!heheheh.. It costs me around 8000++ pesos for the 4 roudtrip tickets (take note: ROUNDTRIP!) tax and other fees included. Then after that, my barkada here in the office are planning a trip to Vigan! yeah! But we haven't decided the date for that trip yet. Ialso have second thoughts on going to that trip because, i have so many debts (no thanks in using my credit card!). I also haven't fully paid my cellphone. And there's also my everyday expenses, like breakfast, dinner, transport fare and stuff. I'm also tempted to buy a DSLR camera, no thanks to that photography forum! heheheh.. Good thing, my boyfriend is helping to stay focus and forget (for the mean time) my urge to buy my luxury item. yey!

Manic Monday..

Bad day for two consecutive mondays! yeah.. I've never felt this low ever since i told my ex boyfriend that "he can do whatever he wants because I don't care anymore!" and that was almost 8 months ago! Last night, my boyfriend texted me saying he's frustrated for some reason.. I know it has something to do with me and it's bothering me! I texted him this morning to discuss it. He called me on my local and he just told me to forget it because it's really not a big deal.. i just kept quiet while listening to him say stuff. I'm still thinking about the stuff he told me through text, and it still bothers me. I hope we could discuss this tomorrow as he promised. Anyway, he just ruined my day today because of that thing that frustrates him.
